In the wake of recent events, Corky Becker, Kaethe Weingarten and Liz Brenner of Therapy Training Boston will offer an opportunity to talk about what is unfolding for us all in our personal and professional lives. Impact cannot be judged only by physical distance from traumatic events, but by psychological distance as well. Many of us have never had the complex experience of being in the midst of terror simultaneously with our clients. For some of us, responding to others' stories is grueling. Events such as these take a toll on our thoughts, emotions, bodies and spirit. Join us in community as we create a safe space to connect, comfort, offer compassionate witness and speak the truth of our unique and shared experiences.
Please arrive between 6:30 and 6:45 so we can start promptly at 7 pm. This is a free event with space for 40 people. Drinks and snacks will be provided. Feel free to bring dinner if you can come early. Save your seat on the TTB website:
