AAMFT requires licensed therapists to receive 30 hours of approved training within each two-year renewal cycle. Courses must be approved by the Family Development Associates for continuing education certifications. Continuing education credits may be received retroactively for a course that is not pre-approved by submitting a request for official CEU credits. CE credits may also be received through online education.
